The story
Crime writer Holly Martins travels to post-war Vienna, divided into four zones, where he was invited by his old friend Harry Lime. But immediately after arriving, Holly realizes that his friend is dead. The death seems suspicious to Holly and his investigation leads him into the dark mysteries of a corrupt underworld. The film was based on the work of the same name by Graham Greene, who also wrote the screenplay. An undisputed classic and a film noir that is among the most recognizable of all time.
